Caroline started attending Pilates mat classes in 2000 after sustaining neck and back injuries in a car accident. After trying many different types of treatment, Pilates was the only thing which provided any long-term pain relief. She was so inspired by the changes in her own mind and body as a result of attending these classes she wanted to share these benefits with others. Caroline has been trained in the Pilates Method with Polestar Pilates Education in 2004. She then obtained the Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction in 2010. She is qualified to teach Matwork and Studio Pilates. Caroline enjoys attending workshops and seminars on a regular basis to keep up to date with developments in the Pilates Industry.
For 10 years Caroline worked in various Pilates studios in Sydney and also had her own Pilates Matwork business in Sydney. She moved to the NSW Central Coast with her husband and young family in 2011. Smart Moves Pilates was established in Hamlyn Terrace in 2013.
In her spare time, Caroline enjoys reading, spending time in nature, travelling and doing Pilates!
